- “I think there's a disconnect there in that we got a lot more quests last year than usual due to developers of fort projects going a step beyond and also doing a miniquest on top of the goal of their project.
(For example, New Foundations on top of the fort, Unwelcome Guests on top of the Slayer extension, Battle of the Forinthry on top of Vorkath boss.) They were short quests but also happened because of developers passionately going above and beyond.
The only fort quests that were budgeted from the beginning to be quests were Murder on the Border, Dead and Buried and Ancient Awakening - and even then, the need to shift the season focus to Necromancy meant some in retrospect undesired cliffhangers.” - Mod Stu on X
