- Patch Notes - 09/05/23 + Sonic Wave Changes
- Sonic Wave has been updated.
- Sonic Wave now applies 6 stacks of Flow for 3 seconds upon a successful hit. Flow increases your hit chance by 1% per stack.
- The 6% accuracy bonus on the next ability has been removed.
- Greater Sonic Wave has been updated.
- Greater Sonic Wave ability damage has been increased from a range of 40%-160% to a range of 60%-170%.
- It now applies 8 stacks of Flow for 4.2 seconds.
- Flow increases your hit chance by 1% per stack and your base ability damage by 1% per stack. The flat +100 ability damage has been removed.
- The 6% accuracy on the next ability has been removed.
- From Thaxy: The old version was 100% average ability damage with a 4.2 second buff of ~4.5% damage for abilities per target hit. The new version is 115% average damage plus 8% damage buff per target hit (says "base ability damage", which I'm assuming applies to more than basics, just a quirk of our naming system). To me, this sounds like they heard our feedback that GConc is a much better upgrade than this, and gave it some extra oomph. The interaction with Greater Chain is even more important than before with this ability, so it does definitely benefit from a more manual rotation, but even without that, this is a fairly significant buff. When factoring in ability cost and channel vs single hit, I'll personally be moving GSonic up one space on my 2h Revo++ bar to sit between Corruption Blast and Asphyxiate.
- Added the override Azure Swiftness to the Greater Death's Swiftness ability.
- Pirate-themed cosmetic item unlock tokens that were recently re-released with Frank's Free Chest can now be purchased on the Grand Exchange by Ironmen.
