- Why was the decision made to make this another payment, how can it be justified?
- An experiment that will last 2 weeks, may never come back again.
- Given targets to achieve, the team decides how to meet these targets.
- The team doesn’t want to do smouldering lamps, it’s to the detriment of the game.
- RunePass could mean focus taken away from promos, treasure hunter, power up promos, maybe membership.
- Devil’s Advocate: What determines if this happens again?
- How many people are completing, how many are buying into it, how many are unlocking certain things?
- Not RNG based, don’t get thrown XP right away, could interact with in the game environment.
- Number of challenges vastly increasing, the free track could become more generous, and there could be different rewards (no XP, protean, or TH items) in the gold pass that are cosmetics.
- How could this interact with premier club members in the future? Would premier club members get a certain number of RunePasses, maybe old RunePasses?
- RunePass was packaged on its own to ensure that it wouldn’t be overshadowed by anything else and that players wouldn’t be distracted by any other updates.
- Mod Osborne talking about Jagex posts on Twitter or Reddit and being quoted elsewhere and it becomes Jagex’s stance on the object. They want to be certain that all points come out as intended and what’s being said is actually true.
- RunePass was not communicated effectively in the blog post.
- TWO WEEK TRIAL WAS MISSED BY MOST PLAYERS
- Shauny: Would the reaction have been different if there was a live stream on the subject with gameplay preview?
- Has it been successful? 3 TIMES MORE ENGAGEMENT than Bingo card promos. A “shadow” of what it could be.
- This is in the same ballpark revenue wise as treasure hunter promos, means that smouldering lamps could potentially disappear in the future.
- DailyScape: Why are there daily tasks? A stockpile of challenges will be available, don’t need to log in every day or on certain days. If this were taking the place of challenges, it would track forward as time progresses (you could complete this later on).
- Mod Orion would like to personally see what players would prefer, a treasure hunter promo like smouldering lamps or RunePass.

- Elite Dungeons
- Most of the issues that came up with elite dungeon 1 should not come up going forward.
- All boss dragons will use models, the existing dragon models come from 2009.
- Bring telegrab runes again
- Entrance is a safe zone
- Sirenic chest piece will be available in the Dungeoneering reward shop by way of a token starting next week or next.
- Rewards: FULL Tectonic, adding elite dungeoneering outfit with elite dungeon 2 (shards in Dungeoneering or Elite Dungeons), melee ability codex, a lot more rewards…
- Bosses: the first celestial dragon and the KBD’s brother
- 4 weeks long
- New walk animations and other overrides.
- Ability to take a photo and have that appear as your forum avatar with your face in a hole.
- Goebies on the beach.
- All members of the group will now be able to see random loot spawns within the Aminishi dungeon
- Cleansed Seiryu no longer attempts to attack players directly under it.
- Loot for non-grouped defeats of Seiryu has been increased.
- Prevented an issue in which player 2 of a Temple of Aminishi 2 player group couldn't rejoin the instance if they left or died.
- Only a single Gorajo card is now taken upon activation.
- Increased buy limit of ancient scales to 200.
- Rare drop table loot now goes to the Aminishi chest if the chest is toggled on.
- Ironmen now consistently gain rewards from killing bosses in the Aminishi dungeon.
- Ironmen now receive loot from bosses in Aminishi when they haven't dealt >50% damage.
- Seiryu's black crystals now have scaled down lifepoints when two or one players are in the arena when the fight is started.
- Other than for Seiryu itself, token rewards in story mode have been reduced to 10%
- Corrected a situation in which players might not roll for loot and earn killcount when Seiryu is defeated mid-jump animation.
- It is now possible to obtain the Lil' Tuzzy pet from Beastmaster Durzag whilst on a raids loot lockout period
