RuneScape Discussion
- Magnetic Minnows (68 Fishing)
- Stackable fish, heals 100hp without the need to cook.
- 300 of them makes bait to attract Sea turtles (79 fishing), great white shark (80
- fishing) and manta ray (81 fishing) on Deep-sea fishing hub fishing spots.
- Green blubber jellyfish (68 fishing) & Blue blubber jellyfish (91 fishing)
- Green: Heals 500 per bite, up to 1500hp for 3 bites.
- Blue: Heals 1000 per bite, up to 3000hp for 3 bites. To be nerfed to 750 lp next week.
- Shares the same characteristics as potions and can thus:
- Doesn’t reduce your adrenaline by 10% per bite as regular food does.
- Can be eaten faster than regular food.
- Be eaten along-side other healing sources like potions and food, making instant healing of 4600hp possible (Sailfish soup + blue jelly + sara brew).
- Blue blubber jellyfish competes with Saradomin brew flasks, being much easier to obtain. Saradomin brews(6) is still the best healing per inventory slot at 6000hp. Blue blubber jellyfish however doesn’t drain combat stats as the potion does.
- Green: ~110k xp/hr (~125k xp/hr max boosts)
- Blue: ~140k xp/hr (~160k xp/hr max boosts)
- Can be caught in swift, regular, or calm spots. Swift spots give more xp (420 vs 400) and have a higher catch rate. Regular spots last longer but have a lower catch rate. Calm spots last longer than regular spots.
- Heals for 2400, being the highest-tier food you can catch-cook-eat.
- Can over-heal up to 10% above the player’s lifepoints.
- Used with spices from Player Owned Ports to make Sailfish Soup: heals for 2600 and the highest tradable food existing in Runescape.
- GE Prices...
- ~130k xp/hr (~160k xp/hr max boosts)
- Fishing Swarm (68 fishing)
- Similar to ZMI Runecrafting except for Fishing.
- Gives you random fish scaled to your level.
- ~80k xp/hr
- Fishing Frenzy (94 fishing)
- Fishing whack-a-mole
- High intensity, high xp
- 250k+ xp/hr max of ~400k xp/hr (525k xp/hr, max bonus)
- Bottled boost from the Guradian of the Vault
- Tavia's rod
- Whirlpool
- Within 10 hours, 56b gold was thrown into the whirlpool. 7 players > 5b. 15 players put in 1b.
- Travelling Merchant
- Arkaneo: Grants all 3 fishing buffs to the player (5-10% chance to gain an extra catch for 3 minutes, granting a 5-10% bonus catch rate for 3-30 minutes, granting 5% extra fishing experience for 3-30 minutes)
- Deep Sea Encounters:
- Sea monster (group activity): Feed the sea monster and if fed successfully grants a 10% chance to gain an additional catch, lasts 10-30 minutes.
- Jellyfish invasion: Remove the jellyfish from the docks. Being successful grants 5% fishing xp boost, lasts 10-30 minutes.
- Whale: rescue a fisherman swallowed by a whale. Being successful grants 10% fishing rate boost, lasts 10-30 minutes.

- 4TAA: Gone back to the drawing board, still needs to be addressed. Something will be done before the release of Solak. No one liked the mage one, the daggers should be pulled into weapon diversity, the ranged one was good but shouldn't be dropped by Solak.
- Ranged idea: "When activated your global cooldown is lowered from 1.8 seconds to 1.2 seconds for a short time. The cooldown of this will be longer than death’s swiftness, since you are mobile during the uptime and this isn’t just an increase in damage, but also an increase in adrenaline gain."
- Clan broadcasts will be the topic of the ninja team. The engine team has put the necessary work in to make this available to all.

Question from Tyco
Dear RSbandb
With the Clue Scroll Overhaul update, clues has not only become easier to complete with the added outfits and hidey-holes, but also become a more stable income. I know as my bank is currently full of unique rewards that I collected from my treasure hunting. My question to you is: Do you think that Clue Scrolls should be a stable income? Before the update it was seen as a rng-activity where only the luckiest would be able to obtain a one-in-a-million items. This made clue scrolls not so popular, but the type of activity that would truly pay off for those that endured. In my opinion this is where it should be and not something that is an alternative that's comparable to PvM.
See you this weekend
