RuneScape Discussion
- Are our non-combat skills useful?
- The hypothesis: very few of our non-combat skills are still useful beyond training for reaching level milestones (99, 120, and max account).
- In order to be useful a skill must either a.) enhance another skill in such a way that the other skill cannot be trained without components of the skill in question or b.) provide a direct benefit to combat in a way that is not available by way of drop or player trading (GE included).
- In the case in which the skill in question provides core components to another skill but these components can be found in trade (GE included) or by drop special consideration will be given to volume.
- What influence does certain PvM drops have on the said skill?
- What prevents this skill from being useful?
- Is this caused by a lack of updates (Jagex) or players moving on to other areas of the game?
- What can be done to rework this skill?
