Happy summer.

Anyway, I like the beach they added in Lumbridge. I get to play in the sand and throw coconuts pretending they are Shane's head.

When summer is over, and the beach is gone what would you like to do in RS for fall? Maybe we can go harvest pumpkins for Halloween, or start siphoning for maple syrup.

In winter, how about we get sledding in RS again, like the good old days?

Anyway, i'm gonna go bask in the sun, happy 4th of July my American brethren.

The day we decided the the english can keep the place called Canada.

Where there's no grass, and snow for 8 months of the year.

I'm hoping I've missed something in the Quest that you guys could help explain to me:

Why was it necessary for V to return as a God..?

I did While Guthix Sleeps years ago & all I can remember of V is that he touched the stone, just like lots of people have up to this point in time. In this recent quest, we get an off hand comment that he killed another God somewhere & that helped him ascend, but we don't know who or what God that was -- so what was the point?

He could have just returned with a longer-than-normal lifespan after touching the stone & been killed for being a False User, which would have had exactly the same impact on the narrative. It all feels really cheap with JaGex stating that an NPC we knew would ascend, if this was it.

Apologies for the long rant, but the new pointless emissary drove me to it!
