Good and fair hosties,

Given the recent raccoon meat incident here in the US, what has been the strangest thing you've ever eaten? As a child, my parents would take me to what Purdue's Agricultural College calls the "Bug Bowl" where the entomology department is front and center. They even provided some of the food! Being a young lad fond of sweets, I saw chocolate when my father handed me a toothpick with something skewered on one end. Although it was more crunchy than chocolate, it took me years to finally learn that my annual fare was a chocolate covered cricket. Yummmm.
